Monday, April 27, 2015. The following is a prime example of the corruption of Lebanese political leaders who claim to be democrats but who behave like kings, owners of power and state money.
Tammam SALAM offers his chief of staff who was retiring two complementary jobs: to be a secretary aid and prime minister Tammam SALAM advisor !
In that case one wonders who will pay the additional salaries to this retired man ?
We ask about hundreds of thousands of Lebanese academics, who are unemployed, if no one could do the usual secretary work in Prime Minister cabinet ?
These two corruption functions created for this gentleman who had to be retired show the height of feudalism and the corrupt attitude of Lebanese political leaders. Is there any judicial procedure to ask prime minister acts ?
Tammam SALAM believes he is a proud man in offering the state money to his servants !
The people did not understand. Nobody will protest!
And so obscurantism continues in Lebanon.

Lundi 27 avril 2015. Voici un exemple flagrant de la corruption des dirigeants politiques libanais qui prétendent être démocrates mais qui se comportent comme des rois et propriétaires du pouvoir et de l’argent de l’Etat.
Tammam SALAM offre à son directeur de cabinet qui devait partir à la retraite un double emploi d’aide à son successeur et de conseiller de Tammam lui-même.
Dans cette affaire on se demande qui va payer les salaires supplémentaires de ce retraité ? Et peut-on savoir sil y a une loi pour poursuivre le premier ministre pour cette forme de corruption ?
Il faut croire aussi que parmi les centaines de milliers de libanais universitaires qui sont au chômage, personne ne serait à la hauteur pour faire le travail d’aide au cabinet du premier ministre !
Ces deux fonctions créées sur mesure pour ce monsieur qui devait partir à la retraite montrent le comble du féodalisme et de l’attitude corrompue des dirigeants.
Et il faut croire que cette décision soit présentée comme une attitude honorable. Le peuple n’a rien compris. Personne ne protestera !
Et ainsi continue l’obscurantisme au Liban.

الاثنين 27 أبريل، 2015. فيما يلي مثال على فساد الزعماء السياسيين اللبنانيين الذين يدعون أنهم ديمقراطيون ولكن الذين يتصرفون مثل الملوك أصحاب السلطة ومال الدولة.
اهدى تمام سلام امين سر مكتبه الذي بلغ سن التقاعد منصبين فاسدين فجعله مستشاره الخاص ومساعد لمن حل محله في امانة سر رئاسة الحكومة.
في هذه الحالة يتساءل المرء من الذي سيدفع هذه الرواتب الاضافية الفاسدة بقرار من رئيس حكومة فاسد ؟ وهل يوجد قانون لمساءلة رئيس الحكومة ؟
ونسأل ألا يوجد بين مئات الآلاف من الأكاديميين اللبنانيين الذين يعانون من ألبطالة شخص واحد كفوء كي يحل محل الموظف المتقاعد ؟
هذه الوظائف المخترعة والمخصصة لتكريم عبيد رئيس الوزراء هي برهان ساطع للفساد الإقطاعي في السلطة.
تمام سلام يعتبر أنه يُكرّم الموظف الذي خدمه في الوقت أنه يهديه مال الدولة. هل الناس فهموا اللعبة المرتشية. لا أحد يتجرأ ليحتج !
وهكذا يتواصل الفساد في لبنان.

Retiring Cabinet official appointed as Salam’s personal advisor

BEIRUT: The Cabinet's retiring secretary-general was appointed an aide to his successor Fouad Fleifel and an advisor to Prime Minister Tammam Salam Sunday, the premier announced during an honorary luncheon.“It is true that Dr. Suhail Bouji will retire on the 26th of this month but I can’t picture the Grand Serail without Bouji continuing with us,” Salam said during an honorary luncheon hosted in honor of the Cabinet’s outgoing secretary-general in the Grand Serail Sunday.
“This is why he will be an advisor to me and an aide to the new secretary-general Fouad Fliefel.”
